YES, I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS

What can you expect from this master class?

Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories; it gets trapped in our muscles. In this masterclass, we practice together, moving, breathing, and exploring how to gently soften the muscular armor.
This is not a lecture. This is a shared somatic experience.
We will move through practices of tension release and expression, discovering together how the body can pulse with life again when given safe, welcoming conditions.
You will feel the shifts in your own body as we practice. Whether you are a therapist, a yoga teacher, a bodyworker, or simply someone curious about your own embodiment, you are welcome here. We gather to experience what it means to soften, to breathe more fully, and to reconnect with pleasure and aliveness in the body.

Why Somatic Practice Matters

We live in a society that has made us experts in discomfort. We sit for hours in bodies built to move. We hold our breath without noticing. We carry tension as if it were normal, until one day, we realize we’ve forgotten what it feels like to truly relax, to breathe deeply, to feel pleasure. The body remembers what the mind forgets. When we experience trauma, loss, or chronic stress, the nervous system learns to stay in protection mode. The muscles tighten. The breath shortens. This is the “muscle armor of character” an intelligent survival response that often stays long after the danger has passed. But here’s what’s beautiful: the body also knows how to release. Not through force, not through pain, but through gentle, conscious practice. When we create safe conditions— when we slow down, when we breathe, when we move with awareness—the body naturally begins to soften and reorganize itself. This is what we do together in this masterclass. We practice softening. We practice breathing. We practice feeling. And as we do, we discover that healing is not something that happens to us; it’s something we experience and feel in our own bodies.

What happens during this masterclass:

• Breathing explorations that release respiratory inhibition and restore natural, full breathing

• Gentle movement and stretching that softens chronic tension without pain or force

• Expressive practices that allow emotions and energy to move through your body

• Moments of rest and integration where you feel the shifts happening in real time

Teacher

Arthur Gaiarsa

I am Arthur Gaiarsa. My journey began with a degree in Physical Education, and I soon discovered Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, Vipassana meditation, and Pilates, just before reading the book that introduced me to the works of Gaiarsa, Reich, and Jung.
Since then, I have spent years exploring different modalities: personal training, therapeutic work, Neurological Reorganization, and bioenergetics. But what I've learned most is this: the body is wise. When we create safe, welcoming conditions, the body knows how to heal and reorganize itself.
Time has shown me that more than just techniques, what matters is presence, connection, and the willingness to truly listen to what the body is telling us.
Sobre Ser Corpo (About Being a Body) is a space for welcoming your unique embodiment and for gathering together in practices rooted in care, respect, and the deep knowing that we are all capable of feeling more—more aliveness, more pleasure, more connection.
I look forward to practicing with you.
